Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a regulated healthcare profession where one assesses, diagnoses, and treats conditions collaboratively with the client.
Once a detailed assessment is performed, our skilled Physiotherapists will diagnose the root cause of your problem and treat it using a combination of the services detailed below (i.e. acupuncture, education, exercise prescription, and manual therapy).
People who seek Physiotherapy are often looking to decrease pain, improve function, and to return to their day-to-day activities. Good Physiotherapists will achieve these goals and educate you on how to prevent re-injury.

Medical Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a technique where needles are inserted and manipulated in specific sites of the body.
The treatment can lead to:-The release of endorphins (natural painkillers)
-The release of serotonin (feel-good chemical)
-Increase in circulation
- Release of stress from body systemsWe also work with Neurofunctional Acupuncture, where the needles are stimulated with electricity to improve muscle activation and nerve conditions.
-
Manual Therapy
Manual therapy refers to any hands-on treatment that our Physiotherapists provide. We may choose to perform manual therapy treatments for the following purposes:
-To regain the movement of an injured joint or to prevent it from worsening
-To stretch an affected muscle/tissue and improve mobility and function
-To improve muscle activation and timing
-Reduce inflammation and swellingOur preferred techniques include: mobilizations, scar mobilizations, myofascial, soft tissue release, Mulligan mobilizations, taping, and muscle energy, in others.

Exercise Prescription
In order to heal completely from an injury, the right muscles must be strengthened at the right time. Progressing too fast too soon or not at all can be detrimental to your injury.
Our Physiotherapists know exactly which exercises are appropriate for your condition, and how to perform and progress them. We have an interest in low back injuries, and have taken the McKenzie method course for diagnosis and treatment of low back injuries.
They can also guide you through a safe routine so that you can return to your favourite activities, stronger than ever.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation
When it comes to athletes, there are a lot of variables at play: timelines, specific muscle groups for different sports, and an emphasis to prevent re-injury above all else.
We work with athletes of all levels, from seasonal golfers to varsity athletes from all over North America.
We are also involved in sports ourselves, so we understand the importance of feeling your absolute best to perform your best.

Motor Vehicle Accident

We understand that if you stress less, you can heal more. With that in mind, we work hard to make this difficult process as easy as possible.

Homeopathy
Our experienced Homeopath has decades of experience in this wonderful treatment strategy.
Homeopathy is based on the premise of ‘like cures like’, whereby treatment involves the distribution of minute doses of natural substances in the body that in a healthy person would produce disease symptoms.
Note: Homeopathy is not performed by a Registered Physiotherapist.
